Here at Silverburn Care Home we love a wide range of activities and for the first time the residents will have the chance to take part in a dancing school experience. Who's ready for some killer moves and lots of laughter.
Music has a healing power, it has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours.
What use are award ceremonies, I think we'd sooner go to the pub with our mates that we've known for years.
Music once admitted to the soul becomes the sort of spirit that never dies, a connection that is never lost.
“When I shop, the world gets better, and the world is better, but then it's not, and I need to do it again as famously said in the movie Confessions of A Shopaholic.
"Paris is café culture, Dublin is pub culture, and that's the best place to solve all the world's problems: over a pint!
"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."
“The odds of going to the store for a loaf of bread and coming out with only a loaf of bread are three billion to one.
"The problems of the world seem to disappear. I think the only thing I would've ever been any good at was probably being a pub landlord."
"Bowling is the art of knocking down pins and knocking out stress."
Tis the season to be jolly and here at Silverburn Care Home, our residents have been treated to their first activity sessions. From a Christmas themed coffee morning to a party at the Old Plain Tree and from Christmas Shopping to Christmas Lights topped off with a trip to the local bar.
