Throughout the month of June, the residents of Silverburn Care Home will be keeping to their Tuesday morning tradition of attending the Baptist Church for a Coffee Morning. As the famous saying goes life without coffee is like something without something, can you tell I haven't had my coffee yet.

To shop or not to shop, is that even a question, who doesn't love a little bit of retail therapy, our residents certainly do and as such they will have the opportunity to take a trip down to Silverburn so they can pick a few things up.

Silverburn Care Home has always been great at creating working relationships with others around them, none more so than the local nursery and as such the residents will have the opportunity to go round and visit the children and in return, the children come and visit the care home.

Once again we will be joined by our amazing entertainer Angela for an afternoon of nostalgia, singing and dancing. As the famous quote goes, if music be the food of love, play on.  

There are some days you just wish you could go back to your childhood and here at Silverburn Care Home, the way he achieve this is by taking the residents down to the local park because as the famous quote goes, if you carry your childhood with you, you never grow older.  

DJ Graham will be joining us for an afternoon of dancing, singing and refreshments. As the famous quote goes, life is like a disco ball, no matter how much the music changes, you just keep dancing.  

To round off a month filled with activities, our final one will be a trip down to the local bar for a light refreshment, some fish and chips and a chat.
