Our mum has only been in Silverburn Care a few weeks but the care and attention she has received has been the best we could ever wish for. Everyone from management, nurses, carers and housekeeping are all kind, caring and extremely professional. Our mum is very happy and so are we knowing that she is safe and well cared for. All the family would highly recommend this care home.
My mother spent the last few years of her life there. She was well loved and and cared for, and the staff were genuinely sad when she left us. I would thoroughly recommend this facility to anybody who has a loved one in need of care, especially for Altzheimers. I miss her so much.
Lovely environment for all the residents. It stands true to it's name. They provide care and a home.
Yes, absolutely! We encourage residents to bring favourite items, decorations, or small pieces of furniture to help make their space feel like home. It’s all about comfort and familiarity.
Depending on your financial situation, care can be funded privately, through local authority support, or a combination of both. We’re happy to walk you through the process and help you understand what you’re entitled to.
You might be eligible for support from your local authority following a financial assessment, and in some cases, NHS Continuing Healthcare funding is available. We can help you explore these routes and assist with any paperwork if needed.
Yes, we do. We welcome both private and local authority-funded residents. We work closely with families and local services to make the process as smooth as possible, regardless of how your care is funded.

Yes, visiting is very flexible. Friends and family are always welcome, and we’ll work with you to make visits as easy and relaxed as possible. This is home, after all.
