Tis the season to be jolly and here at Silverburn Care Home, our residents have been treated to their first activity sessions. From a Christmas themed coffee morning to a party at the Old Plain Tree and from Christmas Shopping to Christmas Lights topped off with a trip to the local bar.
During the course of December, our residents will have the opportunity to attend our local baptist church for a coffee morning. The first trip will be the 2 of December, then the 9 of December and finally the 16 of December. The residents can speak with the local community along with enjoying some tea, coffee...
Our residents will be treated to a few shopping trips over the course of December. Our trips will be on the 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 15th and finally the 18th because after all what is life without a little shopping.
Looking at Christmas Lights is the best way to get into the Christmas Spirit and here at Silverburn Care Home, our residents will have the chance to experience this for themselves.
The residents of Silverburn Care Home will be treated to three trips down at the local bar during the month of December. They can have a beverage of their choice, join in with some karaoke and finally have a good old chit chat. Our trips will be the 3rd, 10th and finally the 17th.
The residents of Silverburn Care Home will be treated to a trip down to the Old Plain Tree. This will take place on the 3rd of December and it will give the residents the opportunity to experience different surroundings.
Once again our Residents will be treated to a concert by our wonderful Neilston Strings Group. They will have the chance to have a bit of a boogie or a singalong because as we all know music is one of the best therapies in the world.
