Silverburn Care Home's Residents will take another trip down to the local pub later in January for another night of chit chat accompanied by a small refreshment.

Our entertainer Angela will be joining us to give a concert for the residents where they can sing along and reminisce.

Our Residents will be treated to an outing to the local bowling alley King Pins giving them a chance to show their competitive side.

Silverburn Care Home will round off January 2026 with a fun filled training session with our Personal Trainer Kami.

Our first activity for the month of February is a trip to the Art Galleries. The residents can view pieces from all over the world whilst also enjoying a cup of tea and a cake.

During the month of February the residents of Silverburn Care Home will continue to enjoy their coffee morning sessions down at our Local Baptist Church where the tea is always hot and the conversations flow.

Here at Silverburn Care Home, we believe it is important to take the residents into different surroundings and the perfect place is a trip down to the Local Pub for a small refreshment and some good old Fish and Chips.  

Retail Therapy is an enjoyable experience and during the month of February, we have shopping trips for our residents to enjoy.

Silverburn Care Home will be celebrating Valentines Day in spectacular fashion by having a themed disco where the residents can enjoy some good music and some light refreshments. Music truly is the best therapy.

Our penultimate activity for the month of February will be a trip down to the bowling alley where the residents can enjoy a bit of competition. May the best player win.

Once again we will be joined by our Personal Trainer Kami during the month of February for various sessions. His classes bring great morale for the residents and for the staff.  

Our final activity for the month of February is our DJ Disco with Graham. The staff and residents will come together either to have a singalong, to show of their moves or to enjoy some refreshments. Music is fundamental because of the togetherness it creates.
