It’s not everyday you see a place where every moment, every laugh, every smile and every tear matters so much to the Staff of this wonderful home.

Why the small moments matter

This will not be your usual care home blog.
Think of it as an open door to the small, beautiful moments you rarely see.
The ones shared quietly by staff, residents and families.

But first, the why.
During lockdown, everything changed.
The team did the very best with what they had.
While many of us were furloughed at home, this home came together.
Staff and residents built a bond that became unbreakable.

It was hard.
For families.
For residents.
For every member of the team.
But it strengthened Silverburn in ways that still show today.
The training, the teamwork, the heart.
All grew to another level.

What many people do not know is that these stories stayed inside the four walls.
Unspoken.
Unshared.
Yet powerful enough to shape the future of the home.

This is why Silverburn was invested in.
The people.
The spaces.
And most importantly, the residents who call it home.

Making Silverburn Visible

As the Marketing Manager who led the transformational branding at Silverburn Care Home, it meant so much to involve the families and residents every step of the way.
